A-SPAN, Doorways Benefit from United Way Initiative

Sarah Morse of the Arlington Street People's Assistance Network, Brandi Lester of United Way of the National Capital Area and Wyatt Schroeder of Doorways for Women and Families participated in United Way's "Shoebox Campaign" on June 21.
The Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network (A-SPAN) and Doorways for Women and Families were among 24 charitable organizations from across the Washington area to participate in the first “Shoebox Campaign” sponsored by United Way of the National Capital Area.

We had the privilege of having two children at Camp Fire, both adopted with special needs and identified as having serious learning and behavioral problems, participate in our program.
