Loudoun Charity Golf Classic Takes a Swing at Community Needs
October 7,2011
On Thursday, October 6, United Way of the National Capital Area, the Loudoun County Regional Council and the Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority hosted the 12th Annual Loudoun Charity Golf Classic at Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club in Leesburg, VA.
More than 140 individuals from 35 local companies came out to support this year’s event, which netted approximately $45,000 in proceeds. All proceeds will benefit the United Way NCA Loudoun Community Impact Fund, which provides support to nonprofit organizations throughout Loudoun County.
Throughout the day, golfers enjoyed lunch on the course provided by Wegmans, a celebratory dinner by Outback Steakhouse, a silent auction, raffles and other enticing contests to help raise funds for the Loudoun community.
Thanks to the support of sponsors and local businesses, funds raised from this event will help ensure services are available to those individuals and families in the Loudoun Community who truly need help the most.

We had the privilege of having two children at Camp Fire, both adopted with special needs and identified as having serious learning and behavioral problems, participate in our program.
