Park View High School raises over $2,000 for Loudoun Community Impact Fund

On Friday, February 10th, students at Park View High School in Sterling, VA concluded their annual Spirit Link event.  Spirit Link is a week-long competition that is coordinated by the Student Council Association, which is led by faculty liaison, Mr. Jeffrey Marsh.  During the course of a week, students purchase paper chain links during homeroom.  Everyday day, links are sold for a nominal fee and 100% of the proceeds from the competition are donated to United Way of the National Capital Area’s Loudoun Community Impact Fund. Each year, Wegman’s rewards the generosity of these amazing students by providing a pizza luncheon to the four homeroom classes that raised the most money.  This year, students raised $2,250 for the Fund, which will help support a select number of member nonprofit organizations who serve the Loudoun community.
