Volunteer engagement:  Volunteers will help clean, arrange and maintain a safe environment for clients and visitors, sort and organize donations, assist clients, hang clothes, greet donors and other duties as determined by the site/service coordinator.

Volunteers are assigned tasks upon arrival. Tasks vary and cannot be preselected.

Volunteer slots: 25-30 per shift

Minimum volunteer age: 16 --- 14 years of age (supervision required)

Volunteer engagement:  Volunteers to sort school supplies and socks, with inventory, fold t-shirts, organize 2 storage rooms and administrative tasks.

Title:  KEEN Fit

Time:  2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Parking:  Free parking available in Georgetown Square Shopping Center

Volunteer engagement:  Volunteers will be paired up with a KEEN young adult “athlete” with a mental disability in a professional gym setting.   Volunteer coaches help athletes on all the different fitness equipment and in the training studio.

Please note: Prior to working with an athlete, volunteers are required to fill out a registration form that includes a privacy/confidentiality statement and waiver regarding the athlete and liability release form. Attire:  clean, relaxed, casual or gym clothing and comfortable closed-toe shoes.

Nearest Metro Rail:  White Flint Metro Station (Red Line); Approximately one mile from Tilden Middle School

Parking:  Free parking available in school parking lot

Volunteer engagement:  Volunteers will be paired up with a KEEN young adult “athlete” with a mental disability in a school gym setting.  During the Sports Program, athletes and volunteers come together for one-to-one activities. They have a group warm up and then move to individual activities that are tailored solely to the needs of the athlete.
