Volunteer engagement:  Volunteer coaches are paired one-on-one with child athletes (ages 5 to 12) and spend the session engaging in individualized activities that appeal to the athlete's personal interests. Athletic equipment--basketballs, soccer balls, hockey sticks, scooters, hula hoops, and much, much more--are provided. New volunteers need to arrive by 9:00 A.M. for orientation and training. Returning volunteers should arrive no later than 9:30 A.M. in order to review their assigned athlete’s profile. Please note: Prior to working with an athlete, volunteers are required to fill out a registration form that includes a privacy/confidentiality statement and waiver regarding the athlete and liability release form. Volunteer engagement:  Volunteer coaches are paired one-on-one with the teenage athletes (ages 13 to 19) and spend a 90-minute session doing individualized activities that appeal to the athlete's personal interests. Athletic equipment--basketballs, soccer balls, hockey sticks, scooters, hula hoops, and much, much more--are provided. New volunteers need to arrive by 11:30 A.M. for orientation and training. Volunteer engagement:  This role is crucial to the success of our event! Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up. Duties include unloading supplies and materials, arranging tables and chairs, hanging signs and other tasks. The ability to lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs. is helpful.

Volunteer engagement:  Participant guides are the first point of contact for participants (people experiencing homelessness) at the event. This role is crucial in helping to engage participants. Volunteers will guide participants from Check-In to their first service area and help them to navigate throughout the event. Volunteering as a Participant Guide is a great way to introduce you to our program and gain a broad understanding of the various services available at the event.
