United Way NCA is embarking on an aggressive ad campaign to get our brand front and center for this year's CFC. We chose a hero angle, evoking in the reader an image of themselves coming to the aid of his or her community. The visual impact of the campaign draws on the style of vintage poster illustrations to call out the celebration of the CFC’s 50th anniversary.
We have created three concepts: a fairy godmother working a little magic; a super hero saving the day; and a knight in shining armor (in development) championing the cause of giving to the community. These ads are sure to stand out!
You are invited to take these ads and make them your own for media ads, flyers, event cards, or any creative way you can think of to promote yourself in the CFC.
Full page print ads will appear in October and November in the Washington Post Express, as well as dynamic online banner ads. This year's ad campaign is sure to provide great visibility for your organization and the United Way NCA family of nonprofits!
In addition we are running numerous radio spots targeted to reach current and potential new donors.
Advertising Template for Members

United Way NCA has created easy to use templates to help your organization customize the powerful design of our print ad for your own promotion. You can capitalize on the value and recognition of the United Way and CFC brand by employing this ad layout with your own brand mark and CFC code. This template can be utilized as a table sign for your organization in preparation for an agency fair or as a high-impact, eye-catching handout to donors. The template is available as an InDesign file for those with design staff, or as an easy to modify word document to make it simple for you to create your own promotional piece and advertisement.
