United Way of the National Capital Area is proud to be a Bronze Level Sponsor of the Montgomery County Public Schools upcoming Back to School Fair. The event takes place Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the grounds of Carver Educational Services Center located at 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, Maryland.

On Monday, April 2, the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area (CFCNCA) announced that United Way of the National Capital Area (United Way NCA) and its member nonprofit organizations raised more than $13.5 million in the 2011 fundraising campaign, which ran from September 1 to December 31, 2011. Overall, the CFCNCA campaign raised more than $64.3 million for thousands of charities located throughout the greater Washington region.
